Started
We started Tripbal because we felt travel was becoming too commercial.
The short version
Big travel platforms often push packaged tours and the same popular experiences, while the people who actually know a place best — local guides, operators, and communities — can get lost in the process.
We wanted to do things differently.
Tripbal is about discovering places through the people who live there, working directly with local operators, and finding experiences that feel real, not just another item on a tour package.

What we believe
Travel should be honest.
If a tour costs $40, it should cost $40. Not $40 plus a 'service fee' plus a 'booking fee' plus a 'we-felt-like-it fee'. Pricing should be transparent — always.
Local operators aren't vendors — they're storytellers.
